I have been a director in the SLCA
since around 1992. My main interests in our neighbourhood include
water quality, overdevelopment, and community relations. I love
the waters that we have to our southwest. We are so fortunate
to have such a resource so close at hand but with that comes the
responsibility to watch for some of the ways that we are harming
this beautiful ocean. Protection of the hills and trees in our
city is a difficult task with a strong economy and ever increasing
population. We live in a very special place and I would like to
help keep it unique. We also have a great collection of people
in our community, a valuable commodity that needs to be tapped
into more than we have. I am responsible for the creation and
maintenance of these web pages, and I hope to reach many more
of you who want to help make a difference here where we live.
Another thing that we seem to forget about our little village of South Laguna is that we are really under a global microscope. With my work as a photographer taking me to many places in the World I have found that Southern California is a trend setting region that the global community watches. South Laguna is a proven testing ground for many of the things that California has claimed authorship of, waste management, fire prevention and cultural arts just to name a few. We are all in a perfect place to "think globally and act locally". Join us!
